Electric Egg Incubator User Manual

Step 1: Setup
Before you begin, make sure that your incubator is set up in a dry, draft-free location. It's important that the incubator is on a flat surface and not wobbling. Ensure that the incubator is plugged in and turned on before proceeding.
Step 2: Temperature and Humidity
The temperature inside the incubator should be maintained at 99.5°F (37.5°C). You can use a good quality thermometer to measure the temperature. Make sure the humidity is kept at around 40-60% by adding water where instructed.
Step 3: Prepare the Eggs
Clean your eggs with warm water and a mild detergent. Never use hot water or harsh detergents as this can damage the eggshells. Place the eggs in the incubator, with the pointy end of the egg facing downwards. 
Step 4: Turning the Eggs
Eggs need to be turned regularly. This should be done at least 2 times per day. If you're not around during the day, you can turn the eggs in the evening and again in the morning. 
Step 5: Waiting for Hatch Time
After about 18 days, candling (shining a light through the egg shell in a dark location) is recommended to check on the embryo. Be patient and don't disturb the incubator too much during this period.
Step 6: The Big Day
After 21 days, the chicks will begin to hatch. Don't interfere with the chicks as they hatch, as this can lead to developmental problems. Once they are fully hatched and have dried off, safely transfer them to a pre-prepared brooder.

1. Set up the incubator in a proper location: Choose an area away from direct sunlight, heat or cold sources, and with unobstructed air circulation.
